The social directives concerning machines used at work, referring to employers and employees were introduced into Polish law by relevant regulations. The basic social directives include Framework Directive 89/391 / EEC and specific directives issued on its basis, including Directive 2009/104 / EC of 16 September 2009, constituting a consolidated text of Directives 89/655 / EEC on 30 November 1989 on minimum safety and health requirements for the use of machinery and other technical equipment by employees at work, and supplementing and amending Directives: 95/63 / EC for mobile machines (mobile) and for lifting loads and people and 2001/45 / EC for equipment for temporary work at heights.
