6	Does the installed local lighting cause direct glare (does the source of light shine directly into the eyes of an employee)?	When possible change the position (angle of inclination) or lower the light-emitting part of the luminaire, or use a local lighting luminaire which will not shine directly in the eyes of the operator; alternatively the operator can wear tinted glasses or a visor cap.
7	Do shiny structural components of machines cause reflective glare?	Where possible, shiny machine surfaces should be matted or change the light angle of the local luminaire.
8	Does the design of the machine and/or covers cause that the local lighting does not reach all the required workspaces?	Use an additional local lighting luminaire in poorly lit places or replace the existing luminaire with one of a illumination large area.
9	Can a stroboscopic effect occur in the machine when the lighting of local lighting luminaire is used?	Immediately replace the existing luminaire with a luminaire causing no stroboscopic effect, i.e. with such an incandescent light source (halogen lamp), a LED light source, or with a fluorescent lamp but powered from an electronic ballast system.
10	Can a local lighting luminaire cause a strobe effect?	Immediately replace the existing luminaire with a luminaire causing no stroboscopic effect, i.e. with such an incandescent light source (halogen lamp), a LED light source, or with a fluorescent lamp but powered from an electronic ballast system.
11	Is light flickering and pulsation noticeable?	This applies to luminaires with fluorescent lamps – immediately replace the fluorescent lamp with a new one or replace the faulty ballast system.
12	Does adjusting the luminaire part with the light source pose a risk for people adjusting the luminaire (burns caused by a hot lampshade etc.)?	Mount a handle for adjusting the position in the part of the luminaire containing the light source and inform personnel to exercise particular caution when adjusting the luminaire position.
13	Does adjusting the luminaire part with the light source pose any risk of scratching or squeezing a finger, etc.?	Replace hazardous design items and inform personnel to exercise particular caution when adjusting the luminaire position.
14	Is the power supply of a luminaire made in a manner safe for the user?	If any dangers associated with power supply are found, immediately repair or replace it.
15	Is the switching on of a luminaire made in a manner safe for the user?	If any dangers associated with power supply of the luminaire are found, immediately repair or replace it.
16	Are there any visible wires with torn or missing insulation?	If any electrical safety-related hazards are found, resulting from a failure or missing insulation on power supply cables, immediately replace it.
