The TeSaMa website aims to support SMEs in maintaining safety when operating machines. It contains detailed tools to support activities related to the assessment of technical safety of machines used at work, including production, maintenance and logistics, as well as guidelines for conducting conformity assessment of machines produced by these enterprises. Well-known issues of machine conformity assessment and safety of their use are considered as related two parts of the same problem. The use of easy-to-use case-oriented tools will contribute to better security management and increase confidence in risk reduction activities in machine operation, opening the way to a more efficient and faster machine development process in a spirit of innovation.
The website was created as part of the project entitled "TeSaMa - System for maintaining technical safety in the mechanical industry" carried out as part of the Opening National and Regional Programs for the Transnational Collective Research between SME Associations and Research Organizations, in 2013-2015, co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development . The contractor for the project was a consortium composed of:
• Institute for Management Cybernetics e. V. - project co-ordinator
• Association of Manufacturers of Woodworking Machinery, Equipment and Tools DROMA
• Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie
• Central Institute for Labor Protection - National Research Institute
